About Groups
The purpose of groups at New River is to make a big church feel small. Gathering weekly for corporate worship is Biblical, necessary, and good. But meeting in smaller groups allows for deeper study of God’s Word and conversations that lead to transformation. In groups, we can foster faithful friendships with people who will support us in times of trouble and celebrate all of life’s victories. We have many groups available, though some may be closed if they have reached capacity.

Discipleship groups at New River operate on a semester to semester basis. Fall semester runs August to December. Spring semester runs January to May. Typically most groups pause for the summer unless specified otherwise.
